The Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival has been successfuly held 12 times in previous years, with the aim of promoting Shaolin Wushu culture and enhancing international Wushu exchanges and cooperation. The 13th Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival will take place from October 17th to 22nd, 2024.
天下武功出少林，少林功夫甲天下！郑州国际少林武术节，是一项旨在弘扬少林武术文化、促进国际间武术交流与合作的盛会，已成功举办了12届。第十三届郑州国际少林武术节，活动时间为2024年10月17日至22日。
This year's festival features two traditional activities and five innovative activities. The two traditional activities include the Shaolin Wushu Competition and the Chinese Wushu Duanwei Evaluation (Overseas). The five innovative activities comprise the Shaolin Kung Fu Group Performance, the First Kung Fu Zhengzhou International Fight Competition, Chinese and American Youth Wushu Elites Training Camp (Shaolin), Kung Fu Adventure, and Cambodian Boxing Meets Shaolin Boxing. Additionally, there will also be cultural activities such as martial arts and tourism project showcases and Chinese-foreign Wushu exchanges.
本届少林武术节将采取“两项传统活动+五项创新活动”形式，举办系列节会活动。两项传统活动主要是少林武术大赛、中国武术段位制（境外）考评；五项创新活动主要是少林功夫集体展演、首届功夫郑州国际搏击对抗赛、中美青年武术精英（少林）训练营、“功夫奇妙游”系列活动、“高棉拳回访少林拳”活动等；其间还将举办功夫暨文旅项目观摩、中外武术交流等系列文化活动。
In line with the principle of "Making Friends Through Wushu, Stepping Forward Together", this year's festival welcomes not only Shaolin Kung Fu but also internationally regulated Wushu routines and various Wushu styles and routines recognized by their countries. This will significantly promote the global popularization and spread of martial arts and enhance the recognition and influence of Chinese culture, particularly Wushu culture, worldwide.
本届国际少林武术节秉承“以武会友、共同进步”的原则，除少林功夫外，国际竞赛规定套路，国家认定的武术套路各种流派拳种均可参与，必将为进一步推动武术运动在全世界的普及和推广、提高中华文化尤其是武术文化在海内外的知名度和影响力做出积极贡献。
Since its inception in 1991, the Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival has attracted over 40,000 athletes from more than 100 countries and regions, making it a long-standing, large-scale, and globally impactful martial arts event with many international participants.
郑州国际少林武术节自1991年创办以来，已累计100多个国家和地区、4万余名运动员参赛，是举办时间久、活动规模大、吸引国际参与人员多、具有全球影响力的国际性武术综合活动。
